A long time ago, mosquitoes didn't buzz, they talked and talked. Then one day when one of them
talked to an iguana and didn't let the iguana say one word. The iguana just grumbled and waved her tail until she forgot to say hello to her friend a snake. After that, everything was in a mess. The snake was so angry that he made a rabbit, a monkey, a crow, and an owl get frightened. Finally, the
whole jungle was mad at the mosquito and cried for the Sun to come up and when it did, the mosquito lost his voice. <\p>

WHY DO HAWKS HUNT CHICKS?
Once upon time, a hawk fell in love with a hen. The hawk flew down from the sky and asked the hen, "Will you marry me?"
The hen loved the brave, strong hawk and wished to marry him. But she said."I cannot fly as high as you can. If you give me time, I may learn to fly as high as you. Then we can fly together."
The hawk agreed. Before he went away, he gave the hen a ring. "This is to show that you have promised to marry me." said the hawk,
It so happened that the hen had already promised to marry a rooster. So, when the rooster saw the ring, he became very angry. "Throw that ring away at once!" shouted the rooster. The hen was so frightened at the rooster's anger that the threw away the ring immediately.
When the hawk came a few months later. the hen told him the truth. The hawk was so furious that he cursed the hen, "Why didn't you tell me earlier? Now, you'll always be scratching the earth, and I'll always be flying above to catch your children." said the hawk.

Why Do the Moon and the Sun Never Appear Together ?
Long long ago, the Sun and the Moon lived happily together in the sky. They always appeared
together during the day and night.
One day the Sun shone brightly so that it almost burned the Moon, The sunlight hurt the Moon's eyes very much. This made the Moon blind.
The Moon left the the Sun although the sun had apologized to the Moon.
The Sun loved the Moon very much, so he chased her. He chased and chased through the years and centuries but has never caught the Moon.
That's why the Sun shines during the day and at night the Moon appears. They will never reunite again.

The Ant and the Cicada
long ago ants and cicadas were friends. The ants were very industrious but the cicadas were lazy.
During the summertime, the ants were busy preparing for winter when they would have to stay in all the time.
One day when the cicadas were singing and dancing, they saw along line of ants carrying food to their anthill. The cicadas invited the ants to join them. But the ants said,"We have to get ready for the winter. If you don't do the same thing, you'll be sorry later!"
The cicadas answered, "We can fly anywhere we want with our strong wings. Stupid ants! And the cicadas kept on singing and dancing.
When the winter came, it was chilly and damp all the time. Inside the anthill, the ants sang and danced. But the cicadas were hungry. They asked the ants if they could borrow some food. The ants said,"We thought you could fly anywhere you wanted!'.
But the cicadas' wings were wet from the rain and snow. The ants said,"We were sorry. If you had told us, we would have worked harder and saved some food for you, but now it is too late. If we lend you food, there will not be enough food for us. Sorry, very sorry." Then they closed their door.
The next day, when the ants opened their door, they found the cicadas dead. That's why, nowadays, we can hear cicadas sing in the summer, but not in the winter.
